Electronic shop gutted in fire

GURGAON: A fire broke out in an electric equipment showroom and its basement on Khandsa Road on Saturday. Goods worth lakhs of rupees was guttered in the blaze. More than 5 fire tenders were pressed into service to extinguish the fire. No injuries have been reported and the reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
The incident took place in the showroom of Madhur electronics around 9.30pm. According to the fire officer, the fire department received a called at 9.40pm. The basement had a mobile shop. Seeing the enormity of the fire, 5 fire engines were deported to the spot and after two hours the fire was extinguish.
The showroom owner remained unavailable for elaborating on the estimated cost of loss.
