Fire at gas store in Janakpur‚ 1 dies‚ 6 injured

Update: One girl child died while six others were injured in the incident.
The deceased has been identified as the owner’s daughter Raghi Kalwar (15). The injured include the store owner Shyam Kalwar and his wife Urmila.
The injured have been rushed to the Janakpur Zonal Hospital for the treatment.
The details of the property loss were yet to be established.
The fire has almost been under control with the help of locals backed by the fire engine, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) personnel.
JANAKPUR: A massive fire broke out at the Urmila General Store near Bishwokarma Chowk in Janakpur at around 6:45 pm on Friday.
It has been learnt that houses near the store have been evacuated to protect the residents.
Police personnel have been deployed at the site to contain the fire. However, due to excessive explosion of gas cylinders, they are unable to approach nearer in order to douse the blaze.
Fire brigades are on the way to the incident site.
There are no immediate details of casualties and the cause behind the fire is still unclear.
