Minor fire breaks out in Shah Rukh Khan’s residence

MUMBAI: A minor fire broke out in an annexe to Mannat, actor Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow , around 11pm on Thursday . No one was injured.
The fire was caused due to short-circuit in the electric wiring of the exhaust fan in the bathroom on the seventh floor of the structure. The wooden frame of the exhaust fan also caught fire. The family members used BCP powder (fire extinguisher) available at home to douse the blaze.
The Khans called the fire control department and also technicians from Reliance. A fire engine and a jumbo tanker were sent to the bungalow located at Bandra Bandstand, but the fire was extinguished before the tanker reached the spot, said fire officials.
