Fire breaks out in Fairview, Quezon City

A fire broke out in Fairview, Quezon City on Sunday morning.
The fire was said to have started at the second floor of a beerhouse on Commonwealth Avenue corner Regalado Avenue, Barangay North Fairview, according to a report by Luisito Santos on Dobol B TV.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) raised the second alarm.
According to barangay residents, the beerhouse has not been operating for about a year now due to lockdown.
However on Sunday morning, they heard two explosions then saw the air conditioner unit on the establishment’s second floor on fire.
The BFP was able to put the fire under control before 9:30 a.m.
Firemen are still conducting mopping up operations as of posting time.
Meanwhile, the incident caused heavy traffic in the area as firetrucks occupied the road.
A zipper lane was opened to allow motorists to pass through. —KG, GMA News
