A bus is set on fire in front of the Rajamangala National Stadium on Sunday.
The bus was set on fire with burning tyres at about 4pm Sunday.
Pol Col Hassadin Noppawong na Ayutthaya of Hua Mak police station said an undentified body was found on the lower deck near the bus toilet. The body was severely burned.
Forensic police have been called in to gather evidence and identify the body.
The red-shirt rally was called off Sunday morning by leaders of the United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) following clashes between Ramkhamhaeng University students and some red shirts on Saturday night which left four dead and scores wounded.
Most of the red shirts had departed from the sports stadium in the morning.
It was not known if the bus had been used to take the red shirts to the stadium nor who set it on fire.
Pol Col Hassadin warned motorists to avoid the road near Ramkhamhaeng Unviersity as it is still closed to traffic.
