AN GIANG (VNS)—A couple, both age 36, along with their 10-year-old daughter, died when their house caught fire in southern An Giang Province’s An Phu District early yesterday morning.
Officials said the fire began in the house, which reportedly contained waste paper which its owner collected to sell. The fire then spread to a next-door building, an electric-equipment store, causing damage estimated at VND3 billion (US$142,800 ).
The fire is being investigated.— VNS
