Fire at hotel damages property worth over Rs 1.5 million

DAMAK: Goods and properties worth over Rs. 1.5 million were damaged when fire broke out at the Khanal Hotel at Damak-13 in Jhapa district.
The fire started from a gas cylinder and gutted goods and properties in the hotel, said the hotel proprietor Loknath Khanal. The fire started at 10 p.m. on Tuesday.
A fridge, an inverter, two bicycles, fans, furniture and other goods and foodstuff were destroyed by the inferno.
