Fire destroys house in Panchthar

PHIDIM: A house was destroyd in a fire at Bharpa VDC, Panchthar district on Saturday night.
The blaze that broke out in the house of Yamnath Nepal gutted property including foodstuffs, clothes, cash among other assets, according to Pushya Prasad Guragain, a teacher at Siddha Devi Secondary School.
The reason behind the fire has not been ascertained yet.
The victims had lodged a complaint at a police post in Jorpokhari on Sunday morning.
A police team has been sent to investigate into the incident, Inspector Sanjeeb Babu Khadka of the District Police Office, Panchthar informed.
The detail of the property loss in the fire has not been established yet.
One found dead
In a separate incident in Panchthar, a local tailor was found dead on Saturday evening in Siddha Bhagwati Jungle here.
The deceased identified as Mohan Mote of Indrapur-2 Morang, who used to work in Yasok Bazaar-based Design Tailors owned by one Sher Bahadur Bhusal
It has been learnt that Mote was a mental patient.
