Mumbai: Fire breaks out at chawl and bakery in Kurla

MUMBAI: A fire broke out at a chawl and bakery in Mumbai’s Kurla area on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident took place at 2:27 pm at pipe road beside Patankar school at Kurla police station lane, near Kurla station.
The fire has been declared as level-1 and efforts are on to douse the blaze.
At least eight fire brigade vehicles, police, ward staff and ambulance have rushed to the spot.
So far, no injuries have been reported.
The reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained, a short circuit is said to be the prima facie cause of the incident.
