Fire at Bukit Panjang flat, no reported casualties

A fire broke out in at Block 415 Saujana Road in the Bukit Panjang area on Friday morning.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that it received a call at 11.04 am in relation to a fire incident on the 9th floor of the flat. It dispatched one fire engine, a red Rhino, two fire bikes and one support vehicle to the scene.
Upon arrival, SCDF officers put out the fire with a dry powder extinguisher. The fire involved a television set but no one was injured, said the SCDF.
The incident is currently under investigation.
