Fire guts property worth Rs. 2 mln in Sankhamul

KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs. 2 million was gutted after a house caught fire at Sankhamul in the capital at 1:00 am today.
The house taken in lease by Lal Bahadur Bhujel was caught by fire, said victim Bhujel.
Bhujel had been running a furniture shop while another shopkeeper had his quilt store at the same house.
With the inferno, all the goods stored in the house turned into ashes in no time.
The reason behind the fire is yet to be established.
The fire was taken under control by six fire engines. No human casualty is reported in the fire incident.
