Fire hits grocery store in Antipolo City

A fire hit a grocery store in Antipolo City, Rizal early Wednesday morning.
Officials have raised the fourth alarm as firefighters continued to work at putting out the fire at the store which is located along Circumferential Road in Barangay San Jose, according to a report by Mark Makalalad on Super Radyo dzBB.
The fire started on the building’s second floor then quickly spread to the rest of the structure, according to a report by Bam Alegre on GMA News’ Unang Balita.
The smoke was still thick as of before 6 a.m.
The fire had already consumed around 70% of the establishment before it was totally controlled at past 8 a.m.
Authorities estimate the fire caused P35 million worth of damages.
Supermarket chain Puregold has yet to issue a statement on the incident.
No injuries or casualties were recorded as the BFP continued its investigation —BAP/KG, GMA News
