Manila-bound passenger bus catches fire at SLEX

A Jam Liner bus bound for Manila caught fire at the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) on Friday morning, the tollway’s traffic control center said.
No one was hurt in the incident, which took place between the Eton and Sta. Rosa tollgates in Laguna.
According to information reaching the traffic control center, the bus started catching fire at 10:10 a.m., prompting passengers to alight the vehicle.
The fire was declared out at 11:27 a.m., and all passengers have already been transferred to a replacement bus.
The incident took place more than a week after a Don Mariano bus fell off the Skyway in Taguig, initially killing 18 people. The bus driver eventually died while under treatment at a hospital. — Andreo Calonzo/RSJ, GMA News
