Four traffic police booths in Bangkok were set on fire and another was damaged in the early hours of Thursday. No injuries were reported.
Police and forensic officials inspected the damaged booths at five intersections in the capital following the attacks on Thursday, Thai media reported.
The first booth was at Saphan Kwai intersection in Phaya Thai district. Firefighters and rescue workers rushed to the scene.
Another traffic booth at Pradiphat intersection in Phaya Thai district was engulfed in flames at around 2.25am. The booth was badly damaged.
At around 2.41am, police were alerted about the fire at a traffic booth at Sri Ayutthaya intersection.
Later, another fire occurred at Mitsamphan intersection on New Phetchaburi Road.
The fifth location was at Phibulwattana intersection on Rama VI Road, where glass windows of the traffic booth were broken but there was no fire.
