Fire guts property worth Rs. 800‚000 in Saptari

SAPTARI: Property worth Rs. 800,000 was gutted by fire at Inaruwa VDC in Saptari district last night.
The fire that started from a cowshed of Jogendra Yadav of Inaruwa VDC-9 destroyed six houses of three families. Police said all the goods including clothes, food grain and furniture were destroyed by fire.
Locals and police personnel brought the fire under control with the help of fire engines. Incidents of fire have increased in Saptari district over the last few days. Fires have occurred at Pato and Inaruwa VDCs.
