Thane: Police van catches fire on Kalyan-Shilphata road

KALYAN: A van belonging to the railway police suddenly caught fire on Monday evening on Kalyan-Shilphata road near Dombivli area of Maharashtra’s Thane district.
Before the fire could spread, all police personnel had jumped out of the vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
Soon after receiving the information, the local fire brigade officials reached the spot to douse the blaze.
The local Manpada Police said that some technical glitches might have led to the fire.
Further probe is underway.
