A warehouse and three vehicles have been gutted in two fires in Chittagong.
The incidents took place early on Thursday.
However, there were no reports of any casualties.
A vehicle caught fire in the city’s Katapahar area around 1.30am because of a fault in its electrical system, fire-fighters said.
The fire spread to two other vehicles parked nearby.
A covered van and two microbuses were gutted in the fire.
Fire-fighters had struggled for an hour to douse the flames, Fire Brigade Chittagong Division control room official Fazlul Kader said.
The losses are estimated at Tk 600,000.
Another fire broke out in a warehouse of the Multi Steel Limited in Nasirabad, minutes after midnight.
An electrical short-circuit may have caused the fire, Fazlul Kader said.
Goods and equipment worth Tk 200,000 had been gutted, he said.
