Massive fire breaks out at Pharma company in Gujarat

ANKLESHWAR: On Friday morning a major fire broke out in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company at Ankleshwar GIDC of Bharuch district. After hours of long firefighting exercise, fire fighters got command on fire. No casualty was reported in this incident.
According to fire department, On Friday morning at around 11am workers of Shree Mahakali Pharma company near Khwaja cross road in Ankleshwar GIDC and raised an alarm. All workers who were present in the company were evacuated immediately and the fire department was informed about the incident. Due to some flammable material fire sperad rapidly and has converted into massive fire.
A team from Ankleshwar GIDC fire department rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident and after realising the serious situation help was called from other fire stations including Jhagadia, Panoli and fire fighters from nearby companies. Teams with more than 10 firefighting vehicles and equipment started exercising to get command on fire. Meanwhile fire spread to adjoining Raahi chemicals.
After hours of long exercise, a fire was coming under control, along with damage of machinery two vehicles, one truck which was parked in the parking of Shree Mahakali Pharma and one mini truck, parked in Raahi chemicals were totally damaged in this incident.
According to the fire bridge no injuries or casualties have been recorded in this incident. The reason behind the incident was not revealed yet.
