At least one firefighter was injured after a fire of undetermined origin hit an establishment along Ongpin Street in Manila’s Chinatown district before dawn Sunday.
The fire started at 4:50 a.m. and reached the third alarm as of 5 a.m., according to a report by radio dzBB’s Mao dela Cruz.
No one was initially reported injured in the fire, the report said.
The fire was put out early Sunday morning, it added.
A separate tweet by volunteer firefighter group TXTFire said the fire was at the corner of Ongpin and Tomas Mapua Streets.
It said the fire was placed under control at 5:04 a.m. — LBG, GMA News
