HETAUDA: A massive fire destroyed four houses in Makwanpur’s Phaparbari VDC yesterday evening. The fire broke out at the house of Bhakta Bhadaur Ale at Phaparbari, Manasai, and spread to three adjacent houses of Bahadur Ale, Prem Bahadur Ale and Tek Bahadur Ale, damaging property worth around Rs 18 lakh, said Phaparbari Area Police Office. The fire victims are taking shelter at their relative’s home.
In another fire caused by solar panel short circuit in Khairang, Pairang, local Sancha Bahadur Moktan’s house was gutted in the blaze. Property around Rs 5 lakh has been destroyed.
