Matchbox-laden lorry gutted in fire

VISAKHAPATNAM: A matchbox-laden lorry was gutted in an accident at Akkireddypalem near Pendurthi when it was hit by a truck coming from the opposite direction.
The lorry was coming from Tamil Nadu and headed to Bihar. No one suffered any injuries as the driver managed to come out of the truck before the fire could spread.
Two fire tenders rushed to the area and doused the blaze. The incident stalled traffic on the NH for almost four kilometres.
