Fire breaks out in yarn manufacturing unit Ludhiana

LUDHIANA: A major fire broke out in a godown of a yarn manufacturing unit in Doraha area, around 20km from Ludhiana.
While the fire engulfed the godown of the unit, no causalities were reported in the incident.
Fire officer Yashpal Rai said that the fire started at around 8.30am and it took them around seven hours to control the blaze.
He added that seven fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the blaze.
