Fire at complex in Ellisbridge, no one injured

Ahmedabad: A fire took place in a commercial complex in Ellisbridge on Monday. No casualty was reported in the incident, said an officer of Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services (AFES). According to the AFES officer, the fire took place in a private firm named Mediscribe Infotech LLP on the fifth floor of B block of Wall Street Complex. People in the office spotted the smoke, evacuated the premises and called the fire brigade. The fire which broke out in an airconditioning unit is suspected to have taken place due to short circuit. As many as 12 vehicles of the fire brigade along with 37 fire personnel and four police officers were deployed to douse the fire. tnn
