Punjab: Fire breaks out in Guru Nanak Dev Hospital in Amritsar, patients evacuated, no casualty reported

A fire broke out in the Guru Nanak Dev Hospital in Amritsar. A major blast was heard near the OPD following and a nearby building caught fire and spread to the skin and cardiology ward. The fire is under control now and according to the fire officer Lovepreet Singh, ‘Initially, the fire broke out in the transformers. Eight fire tenders reached on spot. The fire is under control. No injuries reported.’
