Fire destroys garment shop in Chanda

Chandrapur: A garment shop ‘UB Collection’ on Kasturba Road was completely destroyed in the fire that broke out on Monday night. The shop was closed at 10.30pm and the employees went to their respective homes. The shop owner was out of station during the day.
Within hours of closing the shop, the cloths in the shop caught fire. Fire brigade of Chandrapur Municipal Corporation rushed to the spot and doused the fire soon after getting information, but till then shop was gutted completely. Fire is suspected to have been sparked by short circuit.
