KALYAN: A huge fire broke out at a plastic godown located at Bhiwandi in Maharashtra’s Thane districts on Wednesday morning.
Two fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
The incident took place around 8am at a plastic godown in Narayan compound area on Bhiwand-Kalyan road.
“The fire was so huge that a smoke was visible from the distance of two to three kilometres. “No injuries are casualties have been reported so far,” said a fire official.
Locals alleged that the fire brigade team reached late, and till then, the fire had already spread to entire godown.
The reason behind the fire is yet to be known.
