Delhi: Fire at Dwarka factory, no one hurt

NEW DELHI: A fire was reported from a wooden factory in Dwarka’s Bindapur on Saturday.
The fire department said no casualty was reported.
Delhi Fire Service (DFS) received a fire call at 4.05am from the factory.
Seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot, which is near a bank in Bindapur.
“The blaze was doused, and no one was injured,” Atul Garg, director, DFS, said. The investigation in to cause of fire is going from all angles, including a short circuit. In another case, a fire was reported inside an ATM vestibule in Mahipalpur.
Deputy commissioner of police (southwest) Manoj C said the blace occured was due to short-circuit as an electric wire connected to the machine was found passing over the paper rolls. Both were burnt, but the machine is intact.
