4 rescued after fire in Janakpuri bldg

New Delhi: Four people were rescued after a fire broke out on the 11th floor of Kirti Shikhar Tower in west Delhi’s Janakpuri on Tuesday. The fire department received a call around 12.30pm. The fire tenders used a wooden staircase to rescue the four people. No casualties were reported. Atul Garg, director of DFS, said, “A total of 11 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. It was brought under control by 1.50 pm.” tnn
