Triple fire reported‚ property worth millions gutted

KATHMANDU: Three separate instances of fire were reported in Kathmandu on Friday alone, incurring the damage of huge amount of properties.
In a fire that broke out at an underground parking lot at Bishalbazar due to generator short circuit resulted in the loss of property worth Rs 10 million. The fire was taken under control with the help of two fire engines, police and locals.
In another incident of fire that broke out near Kalanki temple in KMC-14 at a house of one Saroj Bidari, property worth Rs 1.2 million were gutted. The fire had erupted due to electric short circuit in a tailoring shop run by an Indian national Munna Khan. The fire had sparked at around 3:50 am.
Similarly, a fire that broke out at Tilganga-8 gutted property worth Rs 180,000. The fire had sparked at a grocery shop of house owner Babucha Podey, from a butter lamp destroyed two fridges, and other furniture.
