KOLKATA: A fire was reported from the top floor of a two-storey building located at Rupchand Mukherjee Lane in Bhowanipore. No one was injured in the incident, though a room received extensive damage.
Three fire tenders brought the situation under control in 75 minutes after the distress call was made at 12.30pm. The local councillor and senior TMC leaders were at the spot to take stock of the situation.
