Fire Destroys Store At Petrol Kiosk

PUTRAJAYA, Feb 16 (Bernama) — A store for retail goods at a petrol kiosk in Precinct 9 here was destroyed in a fire today.
Putrajaya Fire and Rescue chief Muhamad Hafidz Yaacob said the fire was spotted by an employee of the petrol kiosk at about 9.30 am.
“The store was 80 per cent burnt. Twenty firemen who rushed there in two trucks brought the fire under control in 45 minutes,” he told reporters at the scene.
Muhamad Hafidz said the cause of the blaze had yet to be determined.
