Property gutted in LPG blast

Lucknow: Property worth lakhs of rupees was gutted as four LPG cylinders exploded and ripped through two roadside eateries in Vikasnagar area on Saturday. The smoke billowing out from the eateries was visible in about a 2km radius, leading to panic in the area. Police had to close the roads for about a 1km radius to prevent any further loss. Chief fire officer Vijay Kumar Singh said five fire tenders were rushed to the spot and doused the flames in one hour.
