Auto set on fire in Kashimira

MUMBAI: An empty auto rickshaw was set on fire by unidentified persons in Kashimira in the wee hours of Friday. The auto rickshaw belongs to Yeshwant Mhatre (50), a resident of Shivaji Nagar, Penkarpada, Kashimira.
He saw his auto charred when he woke up in the morning. He has been driving the auto for the past decade. Mhatre filed a complained with the Kashimira police where he named his three neighbours Bharat Mokal, Nitin Mane and Prashant Kadam On Thursday night, Yeshwant’s son allegedly had a fight with Mokal who allegedly threatened to burn the auto.
The police have registered a case of rioting against the three suspects. No arrests have been made
