Fire hits Pasay impounding area; 100 vehicles destroyed

MANILA, Philippines – Around 100 vehicles were destroyed after fire razed an impounding area in Pasay City, Friday morning.
The blaze started at around 6 a.m. inside the private impounding area operated by the Southern Crescent on Buendia Avenue.
The flames were put out by firefighters an hour later.
Among those destroyed during the fire were impounded vehicles due to illegal parking, including passenger jeepneys and taxi cabs.
Arson investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
