Fire guts 23 houses in Rupandehi

KATHMANDU: A fire that broke out at Materiya village in Manmateriya-5 of Rupandehi district destroyed around 23 houses on Friday.
According to the Area Police Office, Chhapiya, properties worth around millions have been gutted in the fire.
Police said that locals, Nepal Police personnel, Nepal Army personnel with the help of two fire engines are battling to contain the fire.
The reason behind the fire and the details of the property destroyed in the fire are yet to be established.
