Massive fire breaks out at Indira Sugar Millin Nawalparasi

NAWALPARASI: A massive fire broke out at the Indira Sugar Mill in Pratappur of Nawalparasi on Saturday.
According to police, the fire was started from sawdust and spread to the building of the mill at around 2:15 pm.
It has been learnt that the fire has destroyed the turbine room of the mill.
Security personnel, locals and fire brigades from Ramgram and Bhairahawa are battling to extinguish the blaze.
Police said that the strong winds fanned the fire and it has been difficult to take the fire under control.
The detail of the properties gutted is yet to be ascertained as it has not been taken under control completely.
