Hyderabad: Car catches fire at airport parking lot

HYDERABAD: Four cars were damaged in a fire accident at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport’s parking area on Saturday night.
Police said that the accident happened when a car belonging to a resident of Rasoolpura caught fire in the parking area while he was searching for a parking space. Police said the person escaped without injury but the car got completely damaged. “He came to the airport to pick up his family members, who were coming from Delhi. Three other cars which were parked close by also got partially burnt,” police said.
After being alerted about the accident, the fire tenders stationed at the airport rushed to the spot and doused the flames. The incident took place at around 7.30pm.
