Fire at Nanglibang forest out of control

PARBAT: A massive wildfire has been raging in a jungle of Nanglibang VDC in Parbat district since Friday afternoon.
Authorities said that they are yet to tame the wildfire as the strong winds fanned it further.
The blaze has posed an immense threat to the locals of wards 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Nanglibang VDC.
It has been learnt that the fire has almost destroyed the forest.
DSP Shyam Krishna Adhikari said that Nepal Police personnel, Armed Police Personnel (APF) and Nepal Army personnel are battling to contain the inferno.
