NDRRMC: Grass fire hits Cavite

A grass fire hit a village in Carmona town in Cavite province Saturday afternoon, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said.
In its report Saturday evening, the NDRRMC said no one was initially reported injured or any structure damaged due to the fire.
The NDRRMC said the fire occurred at 1 p.m. at Barangay Kabilang Baybay.
It said the Bureau of Fire Protection was sent to the area to contain the fire while the town fire brigade was placed on standby. — VC, GMA News
