2 hurt in Navotas fish port fire

Two individuals were injured in a fire that broke out at the Navotas Fishport Complex (NFPC) in Navotas City, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported on Saturday.
According to the BFP National Capital Region (NCR), the fire at Market 3, NFPC, Barangay NBBN, Navotas City reached the first alarm at 2:28 p.m.
The BFP-NCR said it was elevated to a third alarm fire at 2:35 p.m.
The two individuals injured in the fire were identified as Jay-ar Perez, 33, and Jeffrey Mastango, 28.
The BFP-NCR reported no fatalities as of this posting.
According to Jamie Santos’ “24 Oras Weekend” report on Saturday, the houses affected were made from light materials and made the fire spread easily.
The fire was declared under control at 5:54 p.m.
