Minor fire at old BSNL building

Prayagraj: A minor fire erupted in the old building of BSNL at Nawab Yusuf Road under Civil Lines police station on Thursday. However, no casualty was reported. Fire tenders doused the flames that erupted in the pile of files and furniture behind the main building within an hour. Chief fire officer RK Pandey said the reasons behind the fire are still to be ascertained but officials claimed that damaged wiring may have caused a short circuit resulting in the fire.
