50 shops destroyed as fire breaks out at Kalikapur market in Kolkata

KOLKATA: Around 50 shops were gutted in a fire at Kalikapur bazar around 3am on Wednesday.
The police said four fire tenders doused the blaze in two hours by which time most of the shops had been damaged. The reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained. No one was injured, said cops.
