5 wedding party members charred in bus fire

BHOPAL: Five members of a marriage party, including three children, were electrocuted when the bus in which they were travelling came in contact with a high tension wire in Ater tehsil of Bhind district on Friday night. The bus caught fire after it came in contact with the wire.
The incident took place near Bajaria village of the district at around 9pm. The bus was coming from Tikri village and was headed for Bajaria village but the goods kept on the roof of the bus touched a high tension wire when it was at a distance of around 500m from the village, police said.
DIG Chambal range, DK Arya said, “We have recovered five bodies in the bus including three children. The rest jumped off the bus.”
