Mattress shop gutted in Bellandur; none hurt

BENGALURU: Materials inside a mattress shop were gutted in an accidental fire in Bellandur on Thursday morning. No casualties were reported.
Two fire tenders were pressed into service around 8.30am which doused the flames in 30 minutes.
Traffic on the nearby Kaikondrahalli Road was affected. “The thick black smoke emitting from the debris created panic among onlookers as they initially thought it was a huge blaze,” fire and emergency services personnel told TOI.
Traffic returned to normal by 9. 30am.
