Fire breaks out at laptop cell factory in northeast Delhi’s Chand Bagh, 30-year-old woman dies

NEW DELHI: A body of a woman was recovered from the basement of a laptop cell factory in northeast Delhi’s Chand Bagh area where a fire broke out on Sunday, police said.
The woman has been identified as Maya (30) who was working as a labour in the factory.
According to the police, a PCR call was received regarding a fire in the basement of E-9, Chand Bagh.
Fire tenders took about three hours to bring the blaze under control after which the body was recovered from the bathroom of the basement.
The police have a registered case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Further investigations are in progress, police added.
