Private bus catches fire in Mangaluru, no casualties

MANGALURU: A private bus caught fire in front of Kateel Shree Durgaparameshwari temple in Mangaluru on Wednesday. No casualties were reported in the incident.
As per the Bajpe police, the driver first noticed sparks from the engine and immediately alerted the three passengers seated in the bus.
All the passengers and the driver managed to escape unhurt. The exact cause of the mishap is yet to be ascertained.
Though efforts were immediately made to douse the fire, it did not yield any result.
