Bajura fire destroys six houses

BAJURA: At least six houses were completely destroyed when a village caught fire in Gotri of Bajura on Saturday evening.
Local Surednra Shahi said the houses of Lok Shahi, Janak Shahi, Janam Shahi, Ram Shahi, Devi Shahi and Jarmal Shahi were gutted in the fire in Manikanda of Gotri-9.
Everything inside the house was burned. Locals have estimated the loss would amount to around Rs six million.
The District Police Office, however, said it is yet to calculate the total loss.
