NEW DELHI: Two fire incidents were reported in different parts of the city on Sunday, officials said, adding no casualties were reported.
In the first incident, a fire broke out at a boys’ hostel in Maulana Azad Medical College. The fire department said they received a call about the fire at 6.09am and seven fire tenders were sent to the spot. No one was injured, officials said.
The second incident took place in Jahangirpuri where a godown of waste materials caught fire. Garg said the gas cylinders on the spot blasted, making the rescue operation tough. No one was hurt.
