Burrabazar shop catches fire, none hurt

Kolkata: A major fire broke out in an umbrella shop-cum-godown on N Lohia Lane at Burrabazar on Wednesday morning. Three fire tenders doused the blaze in around an hour. None was reportedly injured.
The shop that caught fire was situated on the ground floor of a five-storey building. Locals called the fire brigade after they spotted smoke billowing out of the shop around 11.35am. “We have started a probe to ascertain the cause of the fire,” said an officer. TNN
