School bus catches fire in Palghar’s Virar

MUMBAI: A school bus ferrying students caught fire at Virar in Palghar district on Wednesday morning.
However, no injuries were reported.
The bus was on the Viva College road at around 8am when the driver noticed some flames.
A few passersby also alerted the driver. The students were moved out of the bus before it went up in flames.
Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation (VVMC) fire brigade personnel doused the flames. The bus was completely charred. The cause of the fire has not been ascertained.
